IMVU's announcement regarding how Creators can now earn money for their product sales directly from IMVU.
The original announcement will stay locked so everyone has an easy way to access and consume that information.
IMVU staff will be actively monitoring the discussion here, however, may not respond to each and every post. We will however update the FAQs as and when needed based on this discussion.

Now what about being able to turn credits into money?
considering that the short time IMVU has given resellers and devs.. alot of us are stuck with alot of credits that will just sit there and taunt us forever.
How many threads before that gets looked into? XD

I still want to see a way for artists to continue making money with this new system. The sticker option probably wont last that long. I haven't come up with any suggestions yet that would work and not have any loopholes for thieves, UFI sellers and people doing fraud. People should probably start brainstorming and sharing their ideas while IMVU is still building the system.

Tbh, i would rather go and tax the money i earn myself, Or even have paypal / my bank to do this instead of having someone else do it for me, i know how much credits ect i get from imvu, but its not enough to be taxed from where i live anyways.
It's OUR respectability to go to the tax office and do this, not imvu, not the irs, Ours, if people do not do this then that is there problem, imvu is not my employer, and if so im being under paid, imvu is not answering our questions, not making it easier for us, as far as i am aware and what i have been told the IRS HAS NOT pushed imvu to do thsi at all the laws are not changed but been reworded, and apparently the IRS Is not happy about imvu asking for tax information.
Imvu does not care about the resellers which are going unemployed becouse of this and they have a MONTH to sell all there credits they need more time, we need more time, we need more information, and we defenetly dont need lies.
Do something about them being uneployed, make a "reseller" and employ all the resellers, they need money, a job, income ect,
Imvu gave no warning wich is UN FAIR, as they have little time to now look for a job in this.
They have also said we would have information soon, we have been waiting a few days for proper information and we havent been told fully why this has happened.
